Building for the future: Re:Construct
Is there poetry in a building? Can construction be clever? The answers are “yes” if our 5th competition, Re:Construct, is any indication. From creating lightweight, almost ethereal structures for temporary housing to solving problems we didn’t even know existed, entrants challenged, engaged and amazed our judges. Our winners reveal practical and deployable ways to rethink everything from construction materials to energy systems. And we believe this range of solid ideas provides hope and inspiration for the future of the building industry. |
